Real estate coach and multi family expert Mike Morawski shares his incredible (but harrowing) real estate journey with us today. We speak about how he transitioned from being a successful general contractor in Chicago in the early 90s to running a $20m sales agent business in the late 90s to building a private equity firm that purchased 4000+ apartments in the mid 2000s. Unfortunately, some bad business decisions made during the 2008-2010 financial crisis resulted a catastrophe for Mike, who ended up serving 7.5 years in a federal prison after his investors lost millions of dollars.
Mike was extremely candid about his experiences and how he picked himself up afterwards. Today he is a successful trainer and coach to investors involved in the buying, managing and selling of multi family assets.
Mike´s story offers many lessons for new and experienced investors and I hope you'll enjoy the conversation.
